Lower-Silesian Philharmonic in Jelenia Gora – an institution with more than fifty years of history, the only one in its kind in Poland, as there is no symphony orchestra in Poland which resides in the heart of the touristic region. Surrounded by Karkonosze mountains Jelenia Gora, and the region – where borders of three countries meet (Czech Republic, Germany and Poland) – it is hard to find a place with so many cultural influences and inspirations.
The symphony orchestra of the Lower-Silesian Philharmonic builds its brand based on the broad symphonic repertoire as well as on the events adressed to the wide spectrum of public. The concerts performer outside Jelenia Gora as well as outside Poland – in Ukraine, Germany, Czech Republic are perfect opportunity to show the orchestra potential and possibilities.
